Will Therapy Help?!
Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, challenged in your role as a parent or partner, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes, reactions and skills.
Katy Yahr was honored to be voted best therapist in 2020 by Health Links Magazine.

Personalized Care and Guidance
I implement individualized psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding and growth among patients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. I understand that every person is different and there is no "one size fits all" for each indiviudal or family I see. We will work together to find out what method works best for you and what you find to be the most helpful approach.
In your therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior and learn healthy communication skills. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and help you reoganize and clarify your thoughts and feelings and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles.
